Detailed Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23+ specifications have just surfaced, along with some more images. This time around, the information comes from Roland Quandt, and it has been published on WinFuture.de.

Detailed Galaxy S23 & S23+ specifications have appeared

Let’s focus on the specs first, and we’ll talk a bit about the images later on. As expected, these two phones will have a lot in common, but there are differences, of course. They will be different size-wise, and thus ship with different display sizes, battery capacities, but that’s not where their differences end.

Starting with the SoC, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will fuel both phones. That goes for all three Galaxy S23 phones, actually. They will have the same displays, but they will be different in terms of size.

They will have identical displays, in different sizes

The Galaxy S23 will arrive with a 6.1-inch panel, while the Galaxy S23+ will include a 6.6-inch display. Both phones are set to utilize a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a fullHD+ (2340 x 1080) resolution. That will be an Infinity-O display with an adaptive refresh rate (48-120Hz). The Gorilla Glass Victus 2 will protect both displays, and HDR10+ will be supported.

Both smartphones will ship with 8GB of RAM, but their storage options will be different. The Galaxy S23 is set to arrive in 128GB and 256GB storage flavors. The Galaxy S23+ will be on offer in 256GB and 512GB storage options. We’re not sure if LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 flash storage will be in use, but we’re hoping they will.

They will differ in terms of battery capacity & charging speeds

The Galaxy S23 will utilize a 3,900mAh battery, and the phone will support 25W wired, and 15W wireless charging. The Galaxy S23+ will ship with a 4,700mAh unit, and it will support 45W wired, and 10W wireless charging. Do note that neither phone will include a charger in the box. Another thing to note is that they’ll both support reverse wireless charging too.

You will get IP68 certification on both devices, while both will offer two nano SIM card slots, and an eSIM option. Stereo speakers will be included on both, and both will offer Dolby Atmos support. Face scanning will be enabled, and an in-display fingerprint scanner will be a part of the package as well, in both cases.

You can also expect to get Bluetooth 5.3 on both phones, and the same goes for Wi-Fi 6e support. Both phones will arrive in Black, Cotton, Green, and Purple colors.

The Galaxy S23 & S23+ will sport identical camera setups

The camera setups are also the same. A 50-megapixel main camera (f/1.8 aperture, 85-degree FoV, OIS, Dual Pixel) will be backed by a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera (120-degree FOV, f/2.2 aperture, 13mm lens). A 10-megapixel telephoto camera (f/2.4 aperture, 36-degree FoV, 3x optical zoom) will also sit on the back. A single 12-megapixel camera (f/2.2 aperture, 80-degree FoV) will sit on the front side of both phones.

The Galaxy S23 will measure 146.3 x 70.9 x 7.6mm, and weigh 167 grams. The Galaxy S23+ will measure 157.8 x 76.2 x 7.6mm, and weigh 195 grams.
